Hello world. I'm big sad today. I was supposed to go to a concert with my roommate today in SF, but he totally just disregarded me and went to SF with his friends and said that he would "meet me there". The whole point of taking him in the first place was so that we could go together and I wouldn't have to make the trip on my own. I asked if we would be coming home together, but he said he was gonna go back with his friends after the concert and so I would have to find my way home alone. He didn't even care about how I might get home... This upset me quite a bit, so I decided to sell the tickets and stay home instead.

I think the reason I'm so upset about this situation is because my friend demonstrated a complete lack of empathy for me. He's more worried about himself to care about how his friend might feel to be ignored over his other friends. He could have told me he would rather not go instead of making all these last-minute plans and trying to make both things happen. Overall I'm just super disappointed and I think it'll take a bit of crying alone to get over it.

It's good to feel that way about yourself. You deserve it.

But no, it's not for him, it's for me. I generally buy clothes that I think I look good in just for the sake of feeling good about myself
