We'll be using this thread to design a new musical instrument

It can have any number of parts, ways to change the sound, it can be acoustic or electric or something we don't know yet. Your post / addition can challenge the very notion of "music" or "instrument". The world is your oyster.

It shall have a mouth piece

Hammers will be attached to all strings on the instrument, able to strike by foot pedal.
