Actually that was created by Luca  I've just driven the applications and the like as Cultural Councillor. But I appreciate that!

Two things I have taken away from this experience:

1. It's hard to find a proper balance of how much of another language to use in a post without putting concepts that are too complicated to not translate, and
2. I spent approximately 75% of the time I was writing that post in my notes on the language, lol.

For the record, the actual words used and their translations are:

Ha'hren - (Old/Wise one, mentor, leader)
Savhalla, lethal'lin - Hello, friend (male)
Din'telsila'sathan - Do not be worried.
Ma seranna - My gratitude.

Lethal'l(in/an/en) literally means "blood kin" or "treasured friend", but my belief is that Silvehn has seen enough of the Alanori over the nearly 2000 years she's been alive to consider every one of the elves family.

Din'telsila'sathan is me playing around a bit with Elvehn grammar, I'm afraid lol. Telsila is the word for "to bother, to worry", and sathan is the word for "please". The prefix to make a thought negative is "din", and the suffix to conjugate "telsila" to second-person singular is -s, which is the same letter the following word starts with. I sort of added a bit of outside language flair to the sentence by taking out the -s ending to telsilas and instead combining it with the s at the start of sathan.

It's cool that you use another language in your post. The only language native to subadent is old Subadentian but no one except the royal family uses it

Ha'Elvehnan was a culture in Refugia long before the others came (I have a detailed timeline going back to ~200BC). Their language was suppressed by the Imperial occupation, but the Empire made one very simple, but very important, mistake.

Why would you kill someone who's lived for 1800 years and has so much to teach everyone else  :NotLikeCat:

Also I should probably let you know now, since it's been going on for so long, that the Sylh in my nation name has an H :P
